Richard Ball, co-owner of an advertising and public relations firm in Worcester, designed the "Smiley Face" in 1963 to help ease the acrimonious aftermath following the merger of two insurance companies.  A vice president ordered a "friendship campaign" to ease tensions between the bickering workers and hired Richard Ball to come up with a suitable graphic for a button.

Client Testimonials
Don't just take our word for it!

"I thought that it was an impossible case...thank you so much for helping me get back on track with my life!"
- Christopher H. (1st Degree Murder charges)

"I had been through four attorneys already for my immigration case when I found Daffner - actually referred to the firm by an immigration lawyer who said that the firm is the best!  My removal case is over and my family and I are doing wonderfully as permanent residents of the USA!"
- "Jay" E. (Crime of Moral Turpitude removability issue)

"I committed a so-called 'white collar' crime.  Where my alleged co-conspirators faced lengthy sentences, Mr. Daffner worked with the U.S. Attorney to formulate a way for me to receive a meaningful disposition of the case which permitted me to pay for my criminal transgression but avoid undue incarceration."
- Samuel S. (Forgery / Fraud / Counterfeiting case)

"When my company was purchased, they cut out our division and left me stranded.  With the help of the attorneys at Daffner & Associates, I was able to start my own systems engineering firm which has now grown to be one of the largest in the region!  Thank you for helping to make me a success!"
- Craig C. (Business incorporation and operation issue)

"You handled my issue with the Attorney General in a way in which I didn't think possible - I thank all of the attorneys in your office for their hard work and dedication, and (most of all), my freedom!"
- James T. (Criminal matter)

"Without you guys at my side, I would have gone down for something that I didn't do!  Thank you and God Bless!"
- Megan M. (Criminal matter)
