Big Trial Win in McKean County

We are pleased to announce that we obtained a not-guilty verdict in not one, but two jury trials in McKean County!

McKean County, approximately 3 1/2 hours northeast of Pittsburgh on the southern New York border, is a rural Pennsylvania county with Smethport, PA as its county seat and home to the beautiful McKean County Courthouse (pictured).

Our client was charged in the first case with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Assault by Vehicle, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person in an incident where he allegedly dragged a girl with his truck, causing serious bodily injury.  The second case, having charges of Aggravated Assault on Police, Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person involved an incident where, when officers from the Bradford City Police came to our client's home to investigate the first incident, our client allegedly turned his dog loose against the police, and the dog bit an officer, injuring him.

After a consolidated jury trial, presided over by Senior Judge William F. Morgan, the verdict was returned:  NOT GUILTY ON ALL COUNTS IN BOTH CASES!

Congratulations to attorney Marc Daffner on this big win!
